Australian Bank Charges for Receipt of UK Pension
As most UK Aged pension recipients in Australia get their UK pension paid direct into their Australian bank account, in Australian dollars, and the conversion is done before it reaches the Australian bank, this seems to avoid any bank charges for the bank receiving a foreign currency (The GBP being the foreign currency).

Looks like a mistake. You have used the same exchange rate for September and October. Both show 1.860973216
It looks like just a pure coincidence.
I did double check it when I saw the rate, as I also first thought it was an error.
This is the 2nd time I have seen a same rate, but the first for consecutive months.
25 January 2021 was the same as 27 January 2018.
Actually, thinking more about it, the exact FX rate could be slightly different, depending on how many decimal points are used.
A rate of 1.86098821634726 would give a payment one cent higher.
A rate of 1.86095821634726 would give a payment one cent lower.
4 decimal places, 1.8610, would technically be 100% correct, although not exactly right, being out by $0.01 in the actual payment. I used 9 decimal places, with 1.860973216.
Using 5 decimal places would have allowed between these FX rates 1.86096 to 1.86099, to give the same Dollar amount payment. My calculation at 5 decimal places would be 1.86097.
I might reduce the number of decimal places in future.. 🙂
